Lead Times

General Shipping Times: Shipping normally takes about a week. For special delivery date requests, please email us directly.

Specific Items:

The One Ring and The Chain of Frodo Baggins: Ready to ship within 1-2 days of your order.

Made-to-Order Items: Most other jewelry items, including the Replica Ring, Elvish Love Rings, The Wanderers Circle, and The Nelson Ring, have a lead time of 2-5 weeks before shipping.

Free Shipping for Orders over NZ$449- 

Eligibility: Orders with a total value exceeding NZ$449 (including NZ GST if applicable) qualify for free shipping via standard courier in NZ or DHL outside of New Zealand.

Coverage: Free shipping covers only carrier transportation costs and not destination country regulatory costs such as customs duty, levies, sales taxes, or customs clearance and brokerage fees.

Route+ Protection: Optionally protect your order from loss, damage, or theft with package insurance from Route+. Add Route+ at checkout for full package protection and seamless claims filing.

Places We Can't Ship To

Restricted Countries: Currently, we cannot ship to Andorra, Angola, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Montenegro, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Portugal, Switzerland, Romania, Russia and Yemen due to regulatory restrictions or excessive duties on jewellery.

Availability Check: During the checkout process, you will be notified if we are unable to ship to your country. Feel free to email us for advice and options if your country is not supported.

 

UK Minimum Package Over Value Limit Post-Brexit

UK Orders: Due to post-Brexit VAT processing changes, there is a minimum order value requirement of USD $185 for packages shipping to the UK. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Reliable Shipping: We prefer using reliable, trackable shipping services over cheaper, untrackable postal services to ensure your package arrives safely.

Shipping Rates

Once your item has been crafted and is ready for shipping the typical transit times are as follows:

New Zealand NZ$9.99- CourierPost typically overnight for delivery next working day. (Rural addresses may take longer.) 
Australia NZ$35- Typically takes 3-5 working days.
Continental USA NZ$55-
Typically takes 5-7 days working days, but cannot be a PO Box address or APO/FPO.
Rest of the World NZ$69-
Typically takes 5-7 days working days. Available to most countries, but cannot be a PO Box address.
Higher Delivery Cost Countries NZ$109-
Some countries have higher shipping charges.

Tracking

Trackable Shipments: All shipment methods are tracked until destination, with a signature requested on delivery. We do not use untraceable services.

 

Customs Duty & Tax

Responsibility: Customers are responsible for any regulatory fees associated with receiving shipments outside of New Zealand, including customs clearance, brokerage fees, sales tax, GST, VAT, duties, or levies.

Refund Policy

Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied, we will refund the price of your purchase, minus shipping and handling costs, upon safe return of the item.

Return Notification: Notification of return must be completed within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Customs Duties: We cannot refund customs duties or import taxes incurred.

Consumer Guarantees Act: Under New Zealand law, we are not required to refund or replace items if you change your mind. However, we offer a 14-day change-of-mind period for online orders, provided goods are not customized or personalized.

Safe Return: We recommend using an insured courier service such as DHL or FedEx for returns.

Custom Orders: Engraved, special, or custom orders are final and cannot be exchanged or returned, except for sizing and minor modifications (chargeable, if possible).

Returns Procedure

1. Contact Us: Email us to explain the problem. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if necessary.

2. Shipping Instructions: We will provide return shipping instructions and available options.

3. Restocking or Repair Fees: We reserve the right to charge restocking or repair fees for damaged items.

4. Deductible Costs: If the original order was shipped free, we reserve the right to deduct actual shipping costs from the refund. Non-refundable customs clearance charges and payment processor fees (typically 4%) will also be deducted.

Cancellation Policy

Custom Orders: Engraved, special, or custom orders cannot be canceled once work has commenced.

Other Orders: Orders can be canceled if we receive your notification before the goods are shipped.
